DIEGO ALEJANDRO GUTIERREZ CHAVEZ

Born in Leon, Mexico, on October 24th of the year 1993.  

Diego grew up both in Mexico and on the other side of the northern border, with a ball at his feet. He has played football his whole life. 

With an immense passion and love for the game, he dedicated his youth and early adult life to become the best in the game and follow his dream of playing for the biggest clubs in the world. He has played for over 20 different clubs of many levels, including professional teams Club Leon  🇲🇽 and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC 🇺🇸 . His unique and diverse playing career across the soccer pyramid has shaped him and lead him to adopt a universal playing philosophy, adaptable to any playing environment, level, and moment of the game. 

As an advocate and a lifelong student,  he strives to eternally grow as person and improve his coaching ability to create a positive impact on and off the football pitch. As a coach, he goes on infinite quests in order to create the most effective and efficient training environment in the world. His ultimate goal is to provide athletes the necessary tools they need for success in the sport and in life.

Coach Diego is currently the Head Coach for the Boys Soccer Program at Kamehameha Schools Hawai'i , as well the P.E. Teacher at Ernest Bowen De Silva Elementary School.
